If you have questions not addressed below, please contact LOLA CPAP Hats at info@lolacpaphats.com
What if the hat is too long for the infant’s head?
If the hat is too long, use an umbilical cord tie to secure the hat at the point of proper fit.
What if the port for the manometer happens to fall within the channel used for tubing?
If the manometer occupies the same channel as the tubing, you may cut a small slit in the fabric channel allowing the port to come through. If a manometer is not used, the channel is able to accommodate the tubing with the port facing outward.
Why do I have to slide a finger up through the channel to guide the tubing down?
The hat is constructed using multiple layers of fabric. By sliding a finger up through the channel first and guiding the tubing down, it minimizes the risk of the tubing getting caught on one of the layers of fabric.
